Anyscale Privacy Notice
This Privacy Notice is designed to help you understand how Anyscale, Inc. ("Anyscale," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares your personal information (also known as personal data), and to help you understand and exercise your privacy rights.
This Privacy Notice applies to personal information processed by us, including on our websites and other online or offline offerings that link to this Privacy Notice. To make this Privacy Notice easier to read, our websites and other offerings are collectively called the "Services."
Anyscale provides a hosted data processing platform ("Platform Services") to our customers ("Customers") and their authorized personnel ("Authorized Users") under the Anyscale Platform Terms and Conditions (the "Platform Agreement"). This Privacy Notice does not apply to (i) Customer Data (as defined in the Platform Agreement); or (ii) any products, services, websites, or content that are offered by third parties or that have their own privacy notice. Our Customers' respective privacy policies govern their collection and use of Customer Data. Any questions or requests relating to Customer Data should be directed to our customer.

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time in our sole discretion. If we do, we'll let you know by posting the updated Privacy Notice and/or may also send other communications.
2. Personal Information We Collect
The categories of personal information we collect depend on how you interact with us, our Services, and the requirements of applicable law. We collect information that you provide to us, information we obtain automatically when you use our Services, and information from other sources such as third-party services and organizations, as described below.
A. Personal Information You Provide to Us Directly: We may collect personal information in connection with account creation (name, email, phone), submissions via Platform Services, purchases and payment details, communications when you contact us, survey responses, interactive features, conference and event information, business development information, and job applications.
B. Personal Information Collected Automatically: We may collect IP address, user settings, cookie identifiers, browser/device information, location (approximate from IP), and usage data. We use cookies, pixel tags, and web beacons. See "Your Privacy Choices and Rights" below for your choices.
C. Personal Information Collected from Other Sources: We may obtain information from resellers, partners, event sponsors, security services, social media platforms, and publicly available sources.
3. How We Use Your Personal Information
We use your personal information to provide and maintain our Services, manage accounts, answer support requests, process payments, process job applications, allow event registration, pursue legitimate interests (marketing, R&D, security, fraud prevention), detect security incidents, measure engagement, improve Services, carry out analytics, develop new products, ensure quality control, authenticate identities, conduct audits, enforce agreements, comply with legal obligations, and tailor content and advertisements where permitted by law.
4. How We Disclose Your Personal Information
We disclose information to service providers (including Google Analytics, LinkedIn Analytics, Facebook), business partners, affiliates, advertising partners, law enforcement when required, and in connection with mergers, acquisitions, or asset transfers.
5. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Email: Use the unsubscribe link in emails. Text: Follow instructions in messages or contact us. Do Not Track: We do not respond to DNT signals. Cookies: Adjust browser/device preferences (may affect Service functionality).
Your Rights: You may have the right to confirm processing, access/copy your data, data portability, restrict or object to uses, correct data, withdraw consent, and request erasure. Contact us to exercise these rights. EU/UK/Swiss individuals may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
6. International Transfers of Personal Information
We may transfer, process, and store information globally. For EEA/UK/Switzerland transfers, we may use EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Contact us for more information.
7. EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework
Anyscale complies with the EU-U.S. DPF, UK Extension, and Swiss-U.S. DPF. Learn more at the Data Privacy Framework Program. Unresolved complaints may be referred to JAMS Data Privacy Dispute Resolution. You may invoke binding arbitration under certain conditions.
8. Retention of Personal Information
We retain information as long as you use our Services, or as necessary to fulfill collection purposes, resolve disputes, establish legal defenses, conduct audits, pursue legitimate business purposes, enforce agreements, and comply with applicable laws.
9. Supplemental Notice for EU/UK GDPR
Our processing may be based on: Performance of a Contract; Legitimate Interest; Consent; or Compliance with Legal Obligations.
10. Supplemental Notice for Nevada Residents
We do not currently sell your personal information as defined in Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A.
11. Children's Information
Services are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe your child has provided information without consent, contact us. We will delete such information and terminate the account if applicable.
12. Notice to Authorized Users
Where Services are provided through your organization (e.g., employer), that organization administers the Services. We are not responsible for the privacy or security practices of your organization. Contact your organization for more information.
13. Third-Party Websites/Applications
We do not endorse or control third-party sites linking to or from our Services. Read their privacy policies. Providing information to third parties is at your own risk.
